The democracy is in trouble everywhere on the planet after the top management and brokers in the financial industry renewed their milking of the gambling profits from derivatives while still using other peoples' money. The tax payers already bailed them out after 2008 crash and nothing has changed. This is a capital crime against all tax payers.
This was and is too much for the ordinary people on the streets ( Pinn's visualization below tells it all, published in FT)
The leaders in the financial industry knew it well but they did not care. Their past losses on derivatives using other people's money had kept all the "Adidas boys" out from the job markets and even their parents had lost their jobs for the same reason. And as it goes they have no hope to landing new jobs for many years to come.
The damages in London and other cities are large but still just peanuts compared to the profits the real criminals in the banking and financial industry. These criminals should pay the rebuilding of London and other cities whatever the cost. Most of them belong to jail but it is likely that they are just too influential in politics for anyone to have courage to go that far.
The "Adidas boys" just reacted like everyone in their position would react. As they did cause damages they also need a slap to the face. They could never pay their share of what was damaged even if they had jobs. The justice would be well served by putting them to work as laborers at minimum wage in rebuilding the damaged cities until all damages are gone. They would actually learn how to work and some might even become very killed for the construction jobs of the future...
